Summer School 2021
The Secretary of State for Education provided schools with funding to deliver a face-to-face summer school during the 2021 summer holidays for pupipls identified by the school as being most in need of educational recovery and/or wellbeing support. The Clere School identified and sought to maximise the attendance of the rising Year 6 that would be joining The Clere School in Year 7 in September 2021.
In delivering the summer school we included a mix of academic and enrichment activities, provided food and refreshments free of charge, we took account of the current Government COVID-19 guidance at that time. We put a high regard on health & safety and safeguarding guidelines to keep children safe.
The Summer School was a huge success and the children had a great time meeting new friends and staff at The Clere School
